How to meditate

INTRO TO MEDITATION-3 WEEK SESSION

Begins Tuesday, October 21st 4:15-5:15 pm

Designed for students who are new to meditation or those interested in reducing stress. Students with meditation experience can increase their knowledge and skills. Includes basic instruction, and intro to yogic breathing (pranayama), yogic philosophy as well as Buddhist (mindful) meditation and some of the great teachers in Native American and other traditions. Will have an opportunity to answer all meditation questions. Class will include some light stretching and movements to promote comfort, energy, stress reduction and an ability to focus and will include a guided meditation.

prenatal

PreNatal Yoga-3 WEEK SESSION

Begins Tuesday, October 21st 7:00-8:00 pm

Specially designed for the pregnant body, this class prepares the mother-to-be for the birthing and postpartum experiences. Prenatal yoga develops strength and stamina, increased bodily awareness, and deepens the bond between a mother and her baby. The regular practice of yoga while pregnant supports those desiring a natural birth. It has been shown to relieve many common discomforts during pregnancy, and can reduce the risk of complications during the birthing process. Birth, when aided by yoga, can become a relaxed, focused and positive experience.

RELAX WITH REIKI

Relax with Reiki

Wednesday, October 29th 5:30-7:30 pm

As we return to hectic daily schedules and approach the busy holiday season it is important to make time for ourselves to relax and unwind. This workshop will introduce simple yet profound techniques to help you decompress, release tension and diminish anxiety associated with day to day stress. We will discuss how a consistent Reiki practice can enhance your relaxation routine. All participants are invites to receive a mini Reiki session. Cost is $10/ $15 day of
