Intro to Meditation-2 part series RESCHEDULED!
Please Note: this 2 part series has been rescheduled due to having to cancel classes in February, scheduling conflicts and the weather. Series will NOW be April 27th & May 4th. Everyone who was pre-registered previously are automatically pre-registered for the rescheduled series. If you weren’t able to register or attend but wanted to you can pre-register for this rescheduled series til April 26th. Day of price applies to the 27th.

Begins April 27th at 7:00pm

Designed for students who are new to meditation or those interested in reducing stress. Students with meditation experience can increase their knowledge and skills. Includes basic instruction, and intro to yogic breathing (pranayama), yogic philosophy as well as Buddhist (mindful) meditation and some of the great teachers in Native American and other traditions. Will have an opportunity to answer all meditation questions. Class will include some light stretching and movements to promote comfort, energy, stress reduction and an ability to focus and will include a guided meditation. Taught by Nicole Hayman-Sherman, a certified meditation teacher

Flow & Let Go! Special 2 1/2 hour Yoga class
May 18th 5:30-8pm

During this special 2 ½ hour class you will experience the slow, therapeutic and mindful practice of slow flow yoga which releases stress and builds body-mind-spirit awareness. For 75 minutes you will practice the deep stretching and a deeper release than you would in a regular yoga class as poses are held longer with an opportunity to breathe into and discover each one. THEN we will follow with a slow, deep, meditative 75 minute Yin practice that will target the connective tissues with long held postures that cultivate deep listening and a greater intimacy with your body.

Please note: there will be NO regular Yin class or Beginner’s class offered this day.

Reiki & the Mantra
May 25th 7pm

A Mantra is “a sacred verbal formula repeated in prayer or meditation.” In yogic and meditative practices the Mantra is often in Sanskrit and chanted, silently or aloud. We can also utilize a Mantra in real life settings, a phrase such as “this to shall pass” can be used to calm the mind in those moments when our thoughts tumble away from us. 
The Mantra can bring us back to center and help reduce or eliminate negative thoughts.

In this workshop we will utilize meditation and Reiki to create our own personal and unique Mantra to bring harmony and healing for mind, body and spirit
